Web - Mobile Developer (Flutter / React Native)

Qualifications

To ensure success as a cross-platform mobile Developer, you should demonstrate proficiency in mobile app development with knowledge of and a desire to build cross-platform apps that will be deployed on both the App Store and Google Play stores from a single code base. This includes a sound understanding of the traditional product life cycle. An exceptional Cross Platform Developer will be fearless but respectful in the pursuit of excellence, continually striving to shape the ways in which mobile apps impact the world around us.

Work you’ll do

• Design, code and release cross-platform mobile and web applications using Google Flutter or React Native
• Proofreading your code and correcting mistakes before each app is released.
• Collaborating with UI and UX Designers, as well as Software Testers, to ensure that each app is presentable and in perfect working order.
• Monitoring app reviews to detect areas for improvement.
• Creating app updates, including bug fixes and additional features, for release.

Required

• Bachelors in Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent degree
• Experience designing, coding, and releasing mobile applications on either native or leading cross-platform frameworks
• Experience as a Flutter or React Native developer who can demonstrate that ramp ability in an interview
• Knowledge of iOS and Android back-end services/APIs.
• Working experience with JSON and data via REST

Preferred

• 1-2 apps on the Play Store or App Store (built-in Flutter or React Native is even better)
• Understanding of the Bloc or Provider pattern
• Experience with IntelliJ, Android Studio or VSCode preferred
• GIT experience

A Typical Week

• Develop applications
• Help define and maintain smoke tests.
• Manually test new and existing features.
• Develop yourself and join in elsewhere (it’s a small team and there’s always work to jump into).
